It doesn't happen often that a new product (it's more a combination of 2 products but still) doesn't feel like a gimmick.

It does a lot of things and while you probably won't use all of them, you WILL very likely use some of them.

I can see this being an ideal 2nd monitor for your computer setup.

Seems fine to me how they wrote it.

To me "asking, for a long time" means that you have been asking [it a question] for a long time, which sounds odd.

To avoid the double for you could write it as "for a long time i have been asking for this product" or "I have been asking for this product for a long time". Though it really comes down to how you want to deliver it.
