Yeah, does a friend have a spare drive? Even a sata hdd would work, if it's dire , and if it's a friend's drive, you can return it once your done. No problem! Glad I could help!

Ohh, I do understand what are you talking about. I have a SeaGate Barracuda in my PC, and It works fine

It's just I don't really want to make it a boot drive, because It's so much time for something to delete later, but I might do it if there's no choice

Looks like the same BSoD as the last time. That's a good thing actually, when it comes to troubleshooting, it means Windows is going stupid at the same place as the last time. Consistency is good.

 

Run a health check on your drives (both of them)

Now, I'm going to post something that is going to cause controversy. Bear with me.

 

For the seagate, use Seatools. It's a pretty good program.

For the SSD, use DiskGenius, it has a very good sector-by-sector testing of the health of hard drives. I have used it multiple times to find bad/failing hard drives and it has worked every time.

That is the controversy part, I've caught flak for using that program, saying it's worthless and incorrect. I disagree, the drives it flagged as failing, failed shortly after they had been replaced and tested elsewhere, so I feel DG is accurate in its assessment of the health of the SSD.

CAUTION:

 

DiskGenius UI is cluttered, it will happily wipe your drives clean if you are not careful.

At each step, ensure you are choosing the right options.

Well, this is why I tell people to turn off XMP, it seems to cause way more issues than it solves. So for troubleshooting, we want a base factory default BIOS settings.

You can test your Seagate as well, it'll take much longer, but wouldn't hurt to know, while I try to figure out what's next...

The mobo has the latest BIOS and is at factory defaults.

Your system temps, both at idle and under load are......good? CoreTemp and GPUTemp are good programs to monitor in realtime the temps.

I'm using CPU-Z and Ryzen Master, idle 38, under load around 60c on CPU, my GPU used to be around 70 in high res games. my SSD is around 38 too.

That one happened once, during Netflix. However, freezing is actually common, with the cursor moving laggy, or not at all. I should point out too, that my Motherboard picks up some sort of current, which plays in the headphones as a static noise, but that shouldn't cause the problem, because this happened recently, and this BSoD started WAY before.

Ok, let's do this:

 

Get yourself a fresh USB stick (or one you know to be good)

Download a LiveUSB install of something like Linux Mint. It's very Windows-like

Use it for a bit off the stick, as you would normally with Windows.

If it crashes, then you have bad hardware.

If it behaves, then something in Windows is borked but good.

You can use/install Steam and many games play under Linux using Proton, Steam's compatibility layer.

 

I'm almost positive it's a bad board, but I'd rather not have you toss money at the problem until I am certain.

It's a possibility in face of everything else being eliminated. As much of a PITA it is to back-up data, wipe the drive clean, re-install windows, update windows, re-install all software and put all data back, I'd rather hold off until we have eliminated all other options.
