Ethernet LED still glowing after Shut Down

suha04

Hi!

So It's maybe nothing, but my PC's ethernet LED sometimes lights back on after shutdown, which really bugs me, because my computer is turned around so I can see the LED pulsing on both the PC and in my mirror, which makes me gouge my eyes out at night. Is there any software solution instead of the good ol' duct tape?

Thanks for answers!

Yup thats normal. You can probably change this in power settings and by turning off wake on lan.

Will this option make anything worse?

Wake on lan won't work, but won't matter unless your using it(you would know if you are.

Ohh, I searched it up, I had no idea that this was possible, but you're right, I'm not using it. Thank you so much!
