F@H connecting forever

Restarted my computer and I've been having trouble with F@H ever since.

I can't get FAHControl to connect and I can't get the client.foldingathome.org site to connect - first just displays "Connecting" in the top left forever, second keeps saying "Connecting to your F@H client" forever.
Any ideas?

Sounds like the Folding@home client itself isn't actually running. You should see an entry in the Start menu for Folding@home itself within the FAHClient folder.

EDIT:
Went to see if I could make it run on startup and I'm using 69% of my RAM, lol.

Check if the client is running, like @ProjectBox153said. 

I've had this issue (or similar) with one of my systems in the past, in the end un-installing and then re-installing was the only fix.

I just opened Start, typed in Folding, ran Folding@Home, and it worked.

@DailyProcrastinator Do you have any experience folding on Linux (specifically Mint)?

No I have not used any form of Linux OS for nearly 2 years now.
