RX480 4gb0- Low hashrate (9-10MH/s

Note: I'm new and probably don't know what I'm doing.

Mainly because of the LTT add, I downloaded NiceHash. I enabled compute mode in the drivers, but still only am getting about 9.5MH/s.

And I cant seem to figure out why. I should be getting nearly three times that, but. 9.5  =/= 28MH/s.

What's up with this?

I could use some help with this!

please, pm me if you would like to contribute to my gpu bios database (includes overclocking bios, stock bios, and upgrades to gpus via modding)

first, screw nicehash they suck.

have you rebooted since you turned on compute mode? because its necessary as compute mode is part of the initial booting sequence.

and check out this thread

If it's ETH that it's mining (ethash/daggerhashimoto) than the performance of 4 GB cards wil only decline from now on, because the Ethereum DAG has exceeded 4 GB in size.
