Any help with writing to DVD-R?

Hi,

I know this sees dumb, but i have a dvd that has write protection on it and is a dvd-r. It used to have a movie on it but i cant format the dvd. is there anyway to be able to overwrite it?

No.

DVD-Rs are write-once.

Only DVD-RW and DVD+RW are rewritable DVDs.

DVD-R isn't rewriteable, you can only write it once, so no.
