A wild new LMG Staff Member appears. Followed directly.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

Why are you guys not using Synergy to have a single keyboard / mouse for both machines?

I mean, they were a sponsor a while ago.

This will be so obsolete once the zen 3 threadrippers release (hence hacing both many cores and ipc for gaming so you need to build only 1 rig )

I'm pretty sure this has been a few months in the making.

I thought that was going to be the Linus desk PC follow-up. How long has it been since that first video? Did they abandon it?

How does LTT kill motherboards so fast? They seem to kill a new one every video xD.

Common factor in both of the two most recent mobo snuff film videos was spilling all over it while filling a loop, although they claim they let everything dry.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Does that desk not also work as a standing desk? If not, that's kind of a big waste. But then again, you do get to put two pc's in it. So I guess it's even.

Cool final build.

But..

If ur not doing bends, use glass tubing. The only reason NOT to use glass tubing , is if u want to do bends.

The few bends u did do looked rather 'kinked'.

How'd u kill the MB ? , did u fill the loop with power going through the MB ? thats ...unwise.

$700 Motherboard, $2k quadro on the business side ..and u dont get a 3090 for the gaming side ...eh ?

I mean I'm fine with the 3080 for sure, the 3090 is a complete FU to the consumer, its a right rip off ..but still, if ur going crazy enough to use $700 motherboards and a Quadro card ..just get a 3090.

Still , clean looking final product..but that 'case' is ridiculously expensive. Cheaper to do a DIY build ...not particularly hard either if u plan right and have the tools, though you've done a vid on that already so ..yea.

Cool vid. 👍

When using a desk-pc, do you feel the heat of the components on the glass-plate? I mean usually glass sucks at conducting heat, but if you use it for a few hours it should get a little warmer right?

But now, fellow gamers, that was it for me. Please keep in mind, that this is just my personal opionion and I am no expert. Your system shall be cooled forever, see you next time.

So this was the great reveal of that thing Alex was working on when they showed the pyramid PC. That Lian Li desk is ALMOST perfect, in fact, pretty close to an idea I had for doing the same.

I would do it differently though in a few areas. One, mount the PSU horizontally under the two mobos with fans pointed down, that way you have room to mount four power supplies at the back if necessary. Two, leave the sides (wings) of the desk free to fit dual 560 rads on each side, allowing you to have a wider glass table top as well and have the room to fit stuff on your desk. Three, I'd integrate a monitor stand to the back of the desk so you don't have monitor feet hogging that desk space. Then I would use the sides of the monitor stand to attach dual tube reservoirs and water cool both systems. Some integrated cable management space at the rear could be incorporated too

Lian Li are definitely onto something here, but I would expand those mobo trays to fit server/workstation boards that go 10 slots wide (not eight). The funky electrochromic glass is cool but perhaps not necessary and a point of failure if it stops working. The legs/feet are definitely a concern - I would use a H-frame to attach the legs from the bottom and mount the table from the top. Actually if it was my design I'd use the table legs to attach a pair of 1U or 2U UPS units vertically for integrated power protection as well. Some heavy duty casters at the bottom and you're all set.

I started my build in August last year with this case. Indeed the legs are hard to put on with 21 screws each leg.

What if Alex placed the front panel connectors in the TPM in the first motherboard that's why it didn't turn on, hmmm?
