Assassin's Creed Rebellion for me. It's quite addictive and I don't think I've ever spent that much time playing on mobile.

After a few years of not playing any mobile games, i recently got back into Clash of Clans. It's surprisingly not dead yet and still fun. Altough a bit grindy if you get further into it.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

BBS: Bleach Brave Souls.

I was happy to see it come to Steam, as I can get my fix both at work (on my S8 during breaks) and at home on a bigger screen than my S8.  I did use to play Pokemon Go - mostly for my kids - as they loved having pictures taken of them with a random Charmander at the mall (glad they're still young enough to not realize that AR is just... well, AR - lol). but I kind of stopped, as I just got bored.  I still do pop in every other week to surprise the kids with a random Pokemon while were chilling outside during summertime.

I've started playing Pocket Cities recently and I absolutely love it. One time purchase for the full version, no in-app purchase nonsense. The perfect modern version of SimCity on tablets/phones. Really chill city building.

I used to work as a tech and consultant, now I've become an odd person who plays dress-up and calls themselves a theatre maker.

My Rig: Ryzen 5 3600 | AsRock B450 Pro4 | Corsair Vengence RGB Pro 16GB 3200Mhz | Asus TUF GeForce 1660 Super OC | Corsair Carbide 175r | XPG Core Reactor 750W
Keyboard Corsair K55 | Mouse Corsair Harpoon | Sound AKG 52 Headphones,

It's about the closest I've found that isn't OpenTTD (also a simcity-esque thing). I must admit I swerved SimCity Mobile because it's EA and IAPs. I generally take any game that has In App Purchases to have a high likelihood of being rubbish unless it's a one-time ad removal payment.

So things like: Grim Quest (RPG/Dungeon Crawler), Heroes: A Grail Quest (Heroes of Might and Magic 3 style), and Pocket Cities are all nice fun time wasting games.
