House Air Filters

Has anyone thought of this? I couldn't afford fan-filters, but I had a bunch of house filters lying around. If these are good for a house, then they should be good for my computer case. IMG_6586.thumb.jpg.6c6f9335718c0e94e62fac56d4809235.jpgIMG_6587.thumb.jpg.17709071d44be5e2d9d9525f4abbebd0.jpgIMG_6585.thumb.jpg.5ec35e6e977001c1ec77e4c6cd32d71c.jpg

Not too shabby. Could interfere with airflow somewhat, but I'd say it's a pretty good solution if you need some filters on the cheap.

I mean, I guess. But you might see some heavily reduced airflow potentially. HEPA air filters usually have higher airflow impedance

depends on what you use and how well it fits.

But I guess the design is not that different from the holes in a meshify case.

would help, but the airflow could be impacted and need some good fans on it to make it work as you want.

While doing some work, the temps never got higher than 38C.

OP never said it was HEPA.
