I have plugs that plugin into the power supply with 8-pin, and then it splits into two 4-pin connectors.

Would that still work for that cable extension you mentioned?

I need to plug in this CPU power thing that is located at the top of the motherboard. The cables included with the power supply is too short, so I thought of getting new wires from Cablemod.

I think the name of the plug I need is called "Bridged 4+8 Pin EPS," which is under the "EPS/ATX Cables" section on Cablemod. Am I right? Do I need to do something different instead? etc

When measuring for cable length, how much length should I add after I measure it? (Like for bends and etc)

Not much.
When I measured length for my custom watercooled builds I added the lowest amount possible. I think for cablemod that was 5cm or 10cm. Not sure. That was more than enough.

Yes.

How would I plug it in?

  • PSU > Extension > Original Cable > Motherboard
  • PSU > Original Cable > Extension > Motherboard

IIRC, usually its cable then extension to the motherboard.

Here is what I have:

Is there any way I can do "PSU > Extension > Original Cable > Motherboard"? I really don't want to remove all of the cable management that I put around the side/edge. It's going to be a pain in the butt to remove those zip-ties.

Weird that those cables aren't long enough.  They should be the perfect length to go along the back of the motherboard tray and into the connections.

Everything is fine except for that one cord that goes to the top of the motherboard. When it goes around the corner to get to the power supply, it bends the metal a bit, and once it is connected to the power supply it is super tight.

You don't want to do that...unless you want to blow your PSU / motherboard.

The pin layout from the PSU end is NOT standardized / universal, while the pin layout going to the motherboard complies to ATX standard.
