Discord call lags when playing Valorant

yep123

Title, my Discord will lag whenever I play the game, my friends in call can't hear me, I can't hear them, etc. Does anyone have a solution for this? Very annoying since I just got into the game again since its release and I can barely play with my friends

What CPU are you using? Browser or app for discord?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

Using an i5 7500, Discord app. I read somewhere it's probably Valorant pulling too many resources away from my CPU for Discord to run smoothly but their solution of turning on hardware acceleration in Discord didn't seem to fix it

valorant isn't too demanding on the CPU relative to other modern games, and I've run gaming as well as discord on an i5-6600 before.

try the browser and see if it works better.
