Download DirectX End-User Runtime - 404s every time. what the hell?

how the hell did this even happen? i need to redownload DirectX cuz i did a reinstall of Win10 on one of my laptops and the games i play need it to run

its like MS forgot that ALOT of games out there NEED DirectX to run.

It doesn't come with ALL the directX components installed and there are games that require those to run.

Usually games install the additional parts they need. Do you have some examples of games or software where installing this software piece would be known to solve issues?
