I have fps drops in some new games

Hello i have fps drops in some new games like cod: black ops cold war my cpu goes to 100% and i think its because of that. My fps goes from 60 to 10 

I tried every resolution and graphics 

Pc specs: CPU: i3 8100

                 GPU: gtx 1050ti 4gb 

                 Motherboard: TUF B360-PRO GAMING

                 RAM: 16GB

probably not. It still has no HT

it will definitely help, but you'll run again into the same problem with the i5 if you upgrade the gpu to something stronger. if you stay with the 1050ti, the 9500f should be enough.

Thanks for the help. Right now i cant find any gpu in good price so I might upgrade my gpu next year

The really nice thing about pc gaming is you can lower settings and that includes resolutions... you can basically play any game you want without many fps issues at all, you'll just have to lower settings *a lot*. yes it's a bit ghetto but still better than not playing at all or having to deal with low framerates, imo... 

 

And realistically if you want to play newer games at medium settings / 1080p + you'll basically need a new pc... mobo, cpu, ram would be a good start, then you can buy a new gpu whenever...

 

 

making "stop gap upgrades" is imo not worth it, unless you know for sure you can sell the parts without big losses, then yes why not, it's still a hassle and I'd still rather upgrade to current gen parts right away.
