Can I use a 1660 super for video editing?

Buying a GPU for my PC soon, and I was wondering if I would be able to edit high quality footage with a 1660 super. Seems like a well rounded card, wanted an outside opinion.

Specs:

16gb RAM

512gb M.2 SSD

1TB HDD + 500GB HDD

NVIDIA GTX 1660 Super

intel i5 10400F

500W PSU

HYPER T2

1080p no problem on just about any program. It really depends on what editing software you use, davinci resolve can do 4k with a 1660 but it struggles a bit.

Premier is really poorly optimized for mid level hardware so 1080p would be fine 4k you'll need to drop down playback by 1/2 or even 1/4 to not drop frames

The best gaming PC is the PC you like to game on, how you like to game on it

Ofc 1660 super is great for that the only thing you might have issues is RAM 16gb is not enough for 4k video editing. You can do Light 4k video editing (when I mean light I mean cutting editing texts etc) and heavy duty 1080p ( I mean color graded 60fps footage)
