Building a PC, is this good??? TIPS???

Hey guys so I decided to build a pc for the first time. I want to game and work (just basic homework), possibly editing. AMD Ryzen 7, and rtx 3060ti (or should I get 3070???) 16 gb of ram dual channel, 1000w power supply, 1tb SSD, the NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case, and the Cooler MasterLiquid ML240L RGB V2 Liquid CPU Cooler. This is my first time building a pc so yah, my main questions are about the case and if the config will work. Any tips????

A good quality 750 or 850W unit will work fine.

ok thats actually what I thought, thx for the tip, anything else?

The H510 has no airflow.

I'd recommend picking a better case.

It should be fine, but a 1000W PSU is extreme overkill. What kind of games do you want to play?

Main System: Phobos

AMD Ryzen 7 2700 (8C/16T), ASRock B450 Steel Legend, 16GB G.SKILL Aegis DDR4 3000MHz, AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB (XFX), 960GB Crucial M500, 2TB Seagate BarraCuda, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations/macOS Catalina

Secondary System: York

Intel Core i7-2600 (4C/8T), ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3, 16GB GEIL Enhance Corsa DDR3 1600MHz, Zotac GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB, 240GB ADATA Ultimate SU650, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations

Older File Server: Yet to be named

Intel Pentium 4 HT (1C/2T), Intel D865GBF, 3GB DDR 400MHz, ATI Radeon HD 4650 1GB (HIS), 80GB WD Caviar, 320GB Hitachi Deskstar, Windows XP Pro SP3, Windows Server 2003 R2

I advise changing the case as NZXT has really choked airflow, and I also recommend going down to a 650 or 750 watt psu otherwise you're just wasting money that could go towards getting that better GPU.

You don't need 1TB SSD windows can be installed on a 60bg drive with programs and room to spare. Get a 128 or 256gb SSD for the OS and 2x1TB HDDs in Raid0 for games and programs

That's just adding unnecessary complications to the setup. A 1TB SSD is fine for Windows + programs. Also, RAID 0? Really?

No worries. It should be just fine then other than the case and PSU.

Games on a ssd load much faster than on a raid hdd. With that budget, i'd get ssds for games

850 is less overkill but better, I still recommend a 750. The case I have is the PC O11 Dynamic but I don't recommend this because it comes with no fans. I recommend the Cooler Master TD500.

Don't worry about trying to deal with a RAID array. A 1TB SSD is fine.

Games and video editing take a lot of space 1TB will fill up quickly if you do video editing.

The SSD is most valuable for the OS in all other applications you need space and so you don't go back to HDD speeds RAID0 comes handy to have space and above HDD speeds.

Been doing Raid on all my PCs even in my Laptop. Works very well. Its just a bios setting there is no complexity

Excuse me, what? If one drive fails you lose the data on both (or more) drives. Nothing is stopping OP from getting an additional mechanical hard drive to go with the 1TB SSD.
