Should I connect my speakers to TV or PC?

irfankamil

I have a Logitech Z623 speaker and a Philips TV (40PFA4160S/98) as my third screen for watching movies. Should I connect my speaker to the TV or PC?

If your playing the movies on the computer displaying to the TV. Plug them into the computer. Ive found that when a TV has external speakers plugged in the sound options on the TV become limited. Example my LG tv when it had speakers plugged in doesnt change volume.

There's no real benefit from either so which ever is best for you.

If you want your speakers to work all the time with any output from you computer plug them in your motherboard. If you want you speakers to work only when the TV is on + actually play the TV channels through the speakers plug them in your TV.
