Surface Go 2 screen on Surface Go?

I was wondering, as the surface go and surface Go 2 have the same footprint and are quite similar in general, would I be able to use a surface go 2 screen on my surface go?
It has smaller bezels and the big bezels of the go are one of the main points which I dislike about it.
