Computer restarts instead of going to sleep

I have a feeling this might be a gpu issue so I’ll post this here (I’m hoping this isn’t a motherboard issue). When I try to put my computer to sleep sometimes it restarts instead. This also happens when I try to shut it down. The screen will also flicker on and off when I first turn it on sometimes. I feel like I’ve tried everything at this point. I have reinstalled windows a couple times. I replaced my power supply and it still has issues. I’ve also replaced my boot drive. When I check reliability history it gives me “live kernel event error 144”. Does anyone know how I can possibly fix this?

X470 msi
Amd ryzen 5 3600
2 2tb hdd
16gb ram
Ubit WiFi 6 card
Windows 10
