MSI Z77A-G43 ME FW n/a

Yesterday my mobo started failing. I didn’t detect all 4 of my ram sticks.

Replaced it with the exact same mobo and found out that in the bios it won’t show the CPU freq. thought that was odd and did some research.

Found out that the ME firmware isn’t available in the bios. It just shows N/A.

Tried to flash a bios with the ME, failed. Still shows n/a.

Is this fixable? Or is this mobo also dead?

CPU Freq 0
ME FW n/a
Hope someone can help me.

I messed with a Z77A-GD65 quite extensively and I never experienced something like it. Updating ME beyond what the BIOS was released with would result in not being able to overclock. Your issue is weird, have you tried booting from a BIOS from USB? Mine had a feature where it would use a BIOS from a USB drive instead of flashing.

Never saw that option, only saw the option to flash it with a USB and a live update.

So i'm guessing the motherboard I have is also faulty?

My Z77A-GD65 started showing the exact symptoms before I decided to retire it. Does your BIOS flashing option allow you flash ME alongside with BIOS? Mine would ask me if I wanted to flash ME too.

Yeah I can choose between just an update and a update with the ME.

I choose the last one, but stills shows the "n/a"
