Overclocking a i7 2600k CPU on P8H61-M LX3 PLUS R2.0 motherboard

Hello I'm planning to get an i7 2600k and I want to overclock it but I have an Asus P8H61-M LX3 PLUS R2.0 motherboard with an h61 chipset. Can I overclock this CPU? It has a multiplier but when I try to change the multiplier it doesn't do anything because my CPU is non-K.

You can't overclock unless you have a Z board and a K chip.

While you will have a K chip, you won't have a Z board which you need to overclock Intel chips.

But the multiplier is there so you can't do anything with it ?
