Set optical drive as top boot priority. Should also wipe your hard drive.

The same as on a desktop, in the BIOS.

"OS boot manager" is the UEFI bootloader on your hard drive; it's effectively just the boot option for your hard drive.

You want to move "internal CD/DVD ROM drive" to the top of the list.

You do have an OS installed on that SSD in the optical drive bay, right?

Try enabling legacy boot.

Are you even sure this will work? Have other people done this successfully? I know a lot of Thinkpads can do it, not sure about other laptops.

Did you change the legacy boot order to put the DVD first?
