Teamgroup Pro Dark 3200 CL14 RAM single or dual rank (and what does it mean)

I believe its sided density - both sides of PCB used (single rank is one side, dual rank is the other side populated with memory chips).  I believe 8gb sticks are typically SR?  Id like to hear what the more experienced have to say so I can learn.

Well, if you want the best performance you want to have 2x dual rank stick on dual channel config, or 4x singe rank stick. most 4-8gb stick are single rank. some 16gb stick are dual rank.

Motherboard tier list. Tier A for overclocking 5950x. Tier B for overclocking 5900x, Tier C for overclocking 5800X. Tier D for overclocking 5600X. Tier F for 4/6 core Cpus at stock. Tier E avoid.

(Also case airflow matter or if you are using Downcraft air cooler)

( You can overclock Tier C just fine, but it can get very loud, that is why it is not recommended for overclocking, same with tier D)

Single ank can be on both sides. that is pretty rare tho.
