Best reliable and budget 500w ($50-$60) power supply?

GuttedMan0909

My build: Ryz 5 2400g, 2x8gb ddr4 2400mhz, 1x ssd 240gb, 1x 1tb SG Barracuda 7200rpm 1TB, 1x 120gb ssd, PowerC Redragon Rx580 8gb, a320m pro vh plus.

Currently trying to find a 500w psu, preferably with a 80+ rating for less than $55-$60. Can't have 520w or 550w because I have an avr only for 500w.

Any help would be appreciated!

EVGA 500w BR for $52 and the 600w is only $62 on Amazon.  Perfectly reliable and will work just fine for what you're doing with that PC.

There is also the Seasonic S12 500w for $55.

I heard that the Seasonic S12 series are pretty bad. A lot of people had theirs DOA or die a little bit after buying it. This is what I heard for the S12III series, don't know much about the S12II though.

None of them are the greatest. But, at the $50 price point, they are fine for your build. They get the job done and are reliable. They are literally made to be cheap, and give people an option that keeps them out of the dangerous units from lesser brands. A Corsair cx550 is a bit better, but that often pushes upper $60s.
