audio quality Sound Quality is the total opposite on 2 difrent PC'S

Hi my name is Roger, and I've got a question about a new Gaming Headset I bought recently.

 

So about 2 days ago my new Logitech G Pro X Wireless arrived and I ofcourse tested it right away. I first tried music which sounded fine didn't notice any problems very enjoyable. then after I tried games and the first one I tried was VALORANT and right away when I was in the lobby I already was hearing a massive difference but not in a good way the audio was 1. very bassy and 2. not very clear, it sounded very quiet to say the least I find it hard to describe but it was for sure not normal I thought. then after I went into a game of deathmatch and once again noticed a big difference but not in a good way, it sounded very bad like shit quality it was very bassy again which made it hard to keep a lot of sounds apart. and compared to my old headset it was certainly not good quality compared to my new one which is the one I have now. before this headset I owned a Hyper X Cloud Flight and it was an amazing headset for the time I had it. So back to the point. I went to a friend today to let him test my headset for quality of sound and how they fit him on the head. and before hand I told him the audio was very bad in my opinion significantly worse compared to my old one and he found that weird because it is such a good headset + its very pricy. So with me telling him that he tested it out and he told me it was not that bad so I was like let me try it. and it indeed did not sound bad it sounded clear and not bassy at all like I experienced it on my PC it was the quality I would expect from a headset like this. so I was wondering why is that a thing it sounds garbage on my PC but on his it sounds so good and sounds how its supposed to. And now im here wondering why my 200$ headset has completely difrent quality on 2 difrent PC's. 

 

i hope some one is able to help me because this sure is not worth 200$ if I'm not able to fix it 

 

As some background information. I do not have any Equalizers installed or weird settings on. Just default windows 10 sound settings. and this is the same for my friend no weird settings turned on at all.

 

Again I hope some one knows why this is happening because its very weird to me that this is possible, that the sound quality is so far apart on 2 difrent PC's that are not that difrent.

Did you install any driver or software that came with the headphone. Could be a setting. As a general rule of thumb, remove them all. You only need the wireless driver, windows should have that one already or download it once the adapter plugs in. I would assume the software does some bass boost thingy because most people prefer max bass anyways. I use studio headphones at the moment. I rarely use in game voice stuff these days. If I need one, I use a professional cable mic.

Back to your question, make sure no utilities are installed.

I'm pretty sure there was not any extra installation needed. also even if it should have been done it has not been done on both PC's and they still sound completely difrent.

What kind of audio setup do you have in your pc compared to your friend's one?

I mean we have difrent hardware and his is just a bit more up to date and more powerfull but I don't think that would matter that much right?

It's a wireless headset.... Can't use external audio solutions with it.....
