flickering triangle of white lines (ghosting?)

stevejd58

Not sure if Graphic cards is the right forum or Troubleshooting, I'm sure admin will move as appropriate.

I've noticed over the last day or so a flickering triangular set of lines (image attached), it seems to be ghosting the bottom right corner of the screen
I've tried driver updates, changed cables (DVI to VGA) with no change, haven't been able to try another monitor as this is the only one in the house.

I'm beginning to suspect graphics hardware impending death.

Has anyone come across this before and hopefully has a solution
