If i install the latest graphics driver on a gpu and remove it to and put it into another pc, will it be up to date or will i need to update it again.

My friend is wondering this because he's building a pc for his cousin and wants to update his gpu before shipping it to him or building it, does the drivers save in the gpu or do you have to download the latest drivers.

Drivers are on the computer, not the Graphics Card themselves. So yes, you will need to install the drivers on the other PCs you intend to use the card in.

Firmware is on the GPU, drivers are on the computer. You would need to install the driver on the system that you want to use the GPU.
