My computer keeps restarting when I play rainbow 6

Ben0333

So when I play rainbow 6 and I am like half way through a match my computer just randomly restarts, I also just built this computer. I did some benchmarks (furmark & cinebench) and temps were fine on gpu and cpu and no crashing... I did then for like 20 min on gpu and 10 on cpu. Idk if this is crashing is just exclusive to rainbow 6 bc I haven't played any other games yet.  Anyone know what could be wrong or how to fix this problem?

Yeah, corsair is having a tough time lately with their RAM. The sticker says 3200, but it isn't going to stay there. The highest stable I got with mine was 2866 at 1.37v.

Not sure why it's happening, but I had my install of windows corrupt 4 different times trying to push it towards 3200mhz. Let me know if those settings fix the problem

I'm currently running mine at 2133 JDEC, I got tired of trying to fiddle with it and now it's running bulletproof.

And it's running 2133 at 1.2v? Have you tried booting into safe mode?

first time I'm hearing this...

my 3200 corsair run just fine, at absurdly high voltage (1.35 iirc) but that's what my overlord msi board likes it at and any mv less will actually make it crash lol... so I just leave it there, no issues since over 2 years now. 🤷🏼

I just got the PSU. But it is not in a case and just chilling on my table while I use my computer. But there is a reason for that... I have no case, I use a DIY test bench.

Lot of people here are having crashing issues with Corsair Vengeance RAM. Idk what is going on but it seems like recent 3200mhz of theirs is having issues......
