Can't screw in 3,5 drive in Phanteks p300a bay

There are white things in the way, so my friend can't screw screws in to mount the HDD

It's a toolless tray.  I believe the nubs on the side should fit into the holes to secure the drive.  Check the case's manual on the second page...it says toolless (well, they meant to say toolless, but they've made a typo).

That's the purpose of the diagram on the decal in that earlier picture, but there's levers on the sides as well to act as tensioners I think.
