Flashing a Samsung S8

I just got a Samsung S8 today but i found out that it only runs Android 9, can i flash it to Android 11.

if not, what are your favorite Custom Roms

Which version of S8 the do you have, as (IIRC) only the international models can have the bootloaders unlocked. If you have one that can have the bootloader unlocked, LineageOS is a classic and should work pretty well for your use case.

It's been a while since I've had to check which model I have, but usually it's in the about me section. You should find a number that looks something like these

 

SM-G950F, SM-G950FD, SM-G950N, SM-G950X.

 

They are the unlockable models to my knowledge. Check with your specific model to make sure, but it's one of these to make your life easier.

yes you can. be sure to follow the instructions properly. I have mine running android 10

Can you send some links, and can it be done with Android 11?
