Im wondering if this can be upgraded to anything Later than android 4.0 .... i know its old but i was given it for free and its in amazing condition for its age

Natively they can run up to Android 4.1. I'd imagine that later versions may have been made available online, but I don't see how they would possibly run very well. The Tab 2 is a pretty slow device from my experience.

Hoping to get to run 4.4 or better for this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tplink.iot&hl=en_GB&gl=US would be brill if it could run under 4.1 but sadly it does not
