Computer slow and lagging with high end specs, geforce overlay being buggy, Mouse not moving smoothly and slow when starting up pc and opening a game

phxngt_

So lately my computer was being really buggy. My mouse would lag and be moving stutterly and not move smoothly. This happen when I open a game or when I just start my pc and my pc is sometime slow also. Its sometime slow and i dont think its a hardware problem.

My specs are

Processor    AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor, 3593 Mhz, 8 Core(s), 16 Logical Processor(s)
BaseBoard Product    ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING
ASUS TUF Gaming NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 OC Edition Graphics Card

Sometime my computer would freeze and like the graphics would bug half the screen. I think its something wrong when I set up the computer, but im not entirely sure.

what display driver are you using? and have you tried a previous driver? have you tried booting into safe mode and using the MS compatibility drivers?

Make sure ALL your drivers are up to date from the motherboard manufacturer's support page. Run DDU and completely uninstall your graphics drivers and install with a fresh copy of the latest Nvidia drivers for your graphics card.

Download DDU and the latest graphics driver, remove your ethernet/disconnect from WiFi to ensure Windows won't install a copy of Nvidia drivers during reboot after DDUing. Reboot into safe mode and perform a clean install option on DDU. Log back in and install your Nvidia drivers. Reconnect the ethernet cable/connect to WiFi and try out the system to see if this continues.

How do you do that? I think I messed something up with the drivers because now the fonts are all weird.
