There are markers on the socket itself that match the CPU. When you place the CPU in the socket text on the CPU should be turned 90 degrees clockwise.

You match the triangle on the cpu with the triangle on the socket.

Well anyway without it, you can't go wrong, it will only slotted one direction.

Never push it.

You just line up the gold triangle on the CPU substrate with the triangle in the corner on the socket??

This also the right (easier) way, match the "AM4 SOCKET" direction with the letter marking on the cpu.
