Downgrading to a GTX 1080ti

Would it be worth it backing up a series from a RTX 2060 to a GTX 1080ti? Trying to look for one second hand and found a few deals. Just want to know
if its worth it before I click buy.

In some cases it does perform better, but if I think about for only a couple hundreds dollars it more it does make more sence to upgrade to something like a 2080.

"Worth" is a relative term. Yes, the 1080Ti is faster than the 2060 (actually performs like a 2070 Super) and has almost double the VRAM, but if you already have a 2060 I wouldn't buy a last-gen card. Order yourself a 3060 or a 3060Ti instead and just wait until you somehow receive it.
