laptop isn't supporting 21:9?

Hi, I recently bought a Lg25um58 monitor but when i go to put it in 2560:1080 it doesn't show up? The highest display it can go to is 1920:1080. Does anyone know how to fix this?

If you have Intel graphics command center installed there's a option for custom resolution try that.

I can customise it to the display, but it gives me a warning image.png.9d7367236ee8acd58cde04ab424df3e7.png

It should be fine if you input the correct info.

I've input the correct info, but it wont output the correct aspect ratio. I'm starting to think that my laptop just doesnt have the power to output that many pixels.
