Seems like my Pc boots up faster than it can connect to WIFI (Ethernet) I need help

NinjaTonz

I built my pc about 4 days ago and I really love it there is slight problem I am having. When i turn on my pc it takes a total of 40 seconds to a minute and a have to connect to WIFI. It does this automatically but it kind of defeats the purpose of having a NVMe SSD drive as my boot drive. I called my local computer retailer and they told me its a problem that is common that they didn't really have a solution for. When I boot up the PC it shows me the picture I attached.

This is my PC build: https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/list/c7m7sX

I have also contacted Microsoft to see if they could fix the problem, but after many long hours they couldn't find a solution. I have tried updating my bios, reinstalled windows, downloading new drivers, buying a new ethernet cable but sadly none of these worked.

My previous pc was about 6-7 years old and it took around 2 minutes to boot up but the WIFI was already connected when it asked me to log into Windows. I am really confused with what the problem is. If any of you could help me out it would be much appreciated

Are you logging in via a Domain? I've never seen that error message for home use. I've only seen similar messages on systems that are on a domain network.

The only other situation I can think of is if your local user account is linked to a Microsoft account. But even then it should just default to authenticating using your last known good password.

Workgroups are different as they do not manage user accounts like Domain networks. What I would try is seeing if it does the same thing via wired ethernet. This is definitely a puzzling one.

I fix the log in part, basically what was the problem was that i windows was using my Microsoft account as you said, so i switched it to local. Thanks for the reply, I really appreciate it. Now all I got to do is fix the delay to connect to my ethernet cable.
