Intermittent Restarts & BSoDs, increasingly frustrating.

dasbreen

Hi there, I'm looking for some help on next troubleshooting steps for my computer, as I've had some random restarts or BSoDs plaguing me for many months now. At times it's while I'm sitting at the computer using it, at others it's while I'm away or out of the house. Some are immediate restarts and others are a litany of BSoD codes, but none mention a driver file. I looked into the first few BSoD codes that I encountered, and they pointed towards RAM or faulty drivers. I ended up RMA'ing the RAM, and am still having the same issue (both with the temp kit I had during the RMA process and with the replacement kit). I also tried a reformat of the OS but it still continues to happen. The period between restarts can be as short as a couple of hours to as long as 6 or 7 days.

I've tried updating the BIOS, running Windows updates, and updating several other drivers, but it doesn't seem to help. I have attached all the Minidump files I found (5 total) in case they can help.

Some of the BSoD codes I encountered:

  • IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
  • IRQL_GT_ZERO_AT_SYSTEM_SERVICE
  • KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE
  • KERNEL_AUTO_BOOST_LOCK_ACQUISITION_WITH_RAISED_IRQL
  • CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT
  • DRIVER_OVERRAN_STACK_BUFFER

PC Specs:

  • Win 10 Pro
  • Asus Prime X570-Pro
  • AMD Ryzen 5 3600x
  • 2x16GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo 3600 MHz
  • Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super
  • Samsung 970 Evo (1TB) boot SSD
  • Corsair MP600 (500GB) + Seagate (4TB) in StoreMI config for game installs
