[Help] RTX 3080 With INSANELY low 3D Mark Benchmark

mike13531

Good evening everyone,

I recently setup a rig with a RTX 3080, and my 3D graphic mark rated for 13318...  Model average is 24021.  I'm super confused how could it be so low?  Can anyone help me with troubleshooting?

Thank you!

Could be thermal, could be power limit, bad clock table needing a card flash, could be vram, lots of potentials.

We really need a mid run screenshot with msi afterburner and hardware temps for the same moment. Do you have a high/low fps counter as well just where the test dips would help as well

Have you looked at thermals?

I just tested it with Geforce experience clocking the thermals. The overall thermals never exceeded 66 Celsius.  Somehow I came up with this new test result on this new run and I haven't done anything differently...  In fact, I've always received 13k scores for the last 4/5 runs, I'm really confused.

In addition, some weird results also came out of PDF & fonts and text benchmarks

Those are likely due to the driver being brand new and not optimized yet. Could be windows not addressing the gpu correctly (dx12 score would definitely indicate a new driver bug)

I'm not sure if Xevious is adequate to test a modern GPU...

It doesn't really look like there's something wrong tbh.

Can you just simply use Firestrike to confirm this?
