You'll have to do some reading + homework by good friend.

https://github.com/integralfx/MemTestHelper/blob/master/DDR4 OC Guide.md

I followed this, and got my Samsung B-Die DDR4-3000 CL14 kit to run at DDR4-3600.

Hi I was wondering if anyone has tips/advice for me why my system is still having stability and crashing issues when I try to change my CPU OC profiles, RAM to 3800 MHz from 3600 MHz (DOCP), or OC my GPU by 5%-10% I get consistent crashes when running benchmarks, playing games, or rendering anything. I've been forced to leave everything at stock and even then I still get a BSOD 1-2 times/week. Is it just a BIOS thing cuz the parts are new? I'm on the BIOS 1.2.0. I've been updating my BIOS as it's been released. I've had my parts since Early December 2020.

When you OC your ram, do you change voltage or timings?

Yea, I've been using the Ryzen DRAM calculator.

You can't just up the DRAM multiplier to 38x and save and exit.

Your DDR4-3600 rated kit MIGHT not even be able to do DDR4-3800 in the first place.

Your DRAM timings most likely needs to be manually adjusted (e.g. primary + secondary, possible tertiary timings).

Your CPU might not be able to handle DDR4-3800; AMD is only guaranteeing you up to DDR4-3200.

Anything beyond DDR4-3200 is 'Your mileage may vary.'

Ryzen DRAM Calculator are just suggestions; THAT doesn't guarantee you either.

There is no guarantee from either company you can hit 3800. You just might not be able to.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

Do you also change fclk to 1900? If not, there is no point running 3800Mhz over 3600 at 1:1 ratio with fclk. Many cpus/motherboards strugle with fclk above 1800 with todays agesa code, so there are no guaranty that it would work. There's not a big performance difference between 3600 and 3800. If your not willing to spend a good amount of time fine tuning your settings, I would just settle for 3600Mhz.
