Computer peripherals lose power, monitor keeps working, fans keep spinning.

Recently I have been having this issue more and more and i can't seem to find what causes this. So sometimes when i sit down to do something my keyboard loses power and the lights shut down, as well as my mouse is disabled, when i try plugging them out and in again they do not work. But the screen keeps running and the hardware(motherboard and GPU) lights keep going and all fans work.

I have a guess that maybe static electricity is doing something here.

All help will be appreciated.
