If I just plug and play my ram... efficient?

I still have not went into bios and change a single setting. I'm very scared to overclock and burn up something. But I'm thinking this is my last resort.

-Ryzen 5 1600 af

-Asrock B450M Steel Legend

-Team Elite 32GB -

  • DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600)
  • Timing 22-22-22-52
  • CAS Latency 22
  • Voltage 1.20V

-GeForce GTX 1650 super

-WD_BLACK SN750 NVMe 500GB

-Corsair CX 450

I'm thinking it's a ram issue. Stutter, and lag issue

What issue? You didn't even tell us what the problem is, only that you didn't OC anything.

As for your RAM, just go into BIOS and enable XMP/DOCP. Otherwise it won't run at it's advertised speed. There is no risk involved by doing just this.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Your ram probably runs at the default 2133 or 2400 Mhz

Go in BIOS and look for the XMP / DOCP or whatever is called, and select 3200 Mhz from the list.

If it doesn't work for some reason, go back in bios and select 2933 Mhz or 3000 Mhz or whatever option is less than 3200 Mhz in that selection menu.

Probably doesn't solve the stutter / lag, but it will give you maybe 2-3%, probably more, boost in games.

3200mhz won't run with ryzen 1600af unfortunately.

The best you can do is 3000mhz, 2666mhz to be safe.

Was going to say, when I do set it to 3200, it doesn't boot right. So 2666mhz it is!

But then what could be this problem?

When I "optimize" cod warzone in Nvidia experience, The vram is way too high in setting in the game.
