Samsung LU28R550UQUXEN - Auto Contrast/Brightness

WackyJACK98

So I'm currently just watching some content on my Samsung LU28R550UQUXEN and I've noticed horrible auto brightness, when scenes change you can see the bightness change quite a bit resulting a washed out image

I've disabled Eco mode and it's still happening

Connected to a ps4 pro @4k using hdmi

I have a bad feeling it is a problem being connected to the PS4. Never owned one, but check in the settings for the PS4 for auto brightness. Its a simple fix on windows but this might be tricky.

I figured it in the end

Rather bizarrely its "Game Mode" which is causing it

Luckily response time on the monitor is controlled separately
