PC has started chugging when doing anything remotly intense.

Superundead6212

I do lighting design and use the MA2onPC console and the MA3D visuliser to porgram my lights. When i first started, it would run fine when programming, however recently when I try to use it, my PC stutters so much, to the point that even moving the mouse around is slow and stutery. I have notice this on other prgrams such as recording audio as well.

I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue and found a fix. I havent changed anything hardware wise recently so its not to do with that.

PC spec:

AMD fx- 8320 Eight-Core CPU

GTX 1050ti Graphics card

24Gig of DDR3 memory

Thanks in advanced

Don't expect too much of this CPU. That aside, do you run SSD or HDD?

CPU: Ryzen 5800X3D | Motherboard: Gigabyte B550 Elite V2 | RAM: G.Skill Aegis 2x16gb 3200 @3600mhz | PSU: EVGA SuperNova 750 G3 | Monitor: LG 27GL850-B , Samsung C27HG70 |
GPU: Red Devil RX 7900XT | Sound: Odac + Fiio E09K | Case: Fractal Design R6 TG Blackout |Storage: MP510 960gb and 860 Evo 500gb | Cooling: CPU: Noctua NH-D15 with one fan

FS in Denmark/EU:

Asus Dual GTX 1060 3GB. Used maximum 4 months total. Looks like new. Card never opened. Give me a price.

Hard drive. I really need to move over to SSD. Is there any other way to see if the drive is failing?
