Low fps on gt 1030 after the update in valorant even in lowest settings

Hello guys I am new to the pc world and since i am a student in a third world country with a horrible economy all i could buy was used components and as you can tell my specs are really below average for gaming. I used to get 60 plus fps before the update in valorant but after the update the fps keeps dropping below 60 fps in gunfight. What could be the case here what can i do to solve this issue? Is my ram causing it? I am also at 720p but that doesnt change anything there is something off here because on youtube fps test videos at 1080p at ultra people get 60 plus with this card.

My specs:

6gb ram

i3-3240 3.4 ghz

asus h61m-pro mb

Thanks for helping.

I doubt the benchmarks on YT is actually using that GPU because I would be surprised if a tenthiddy (lol) ran the game but minimum is Intel HD 3000 so maybe but as for your issue updates makes changes in the game

I'm just speaking from experience so what I say may not work 100%

Did you try any config.ini tweaks if not

Go (C:\Users\****\AppData\Local\Valorant\Saved\Config)

And add this to GameUserSettings.ini (Only the folder with random numbers)

[ScalabilityGroups]

sg.ResolutionQuality=80.000000

sg.ViewDistanceQuality=0

sg.AntiAliasingQuality=0

sg.ShadowQuality=0

sg.PostProcessQuality=0

sg.TextureQuality=0

sg.EffectsQuality=0

sg.FoliageQuality=0

And dont forget to save the config file as read only this is the important part.

does it make the game look really bad? if so as i said people get higher fps with the card so maybe there is another issue?

not too bad but it will make some distant things blurry/pixelated
also, can you try pressing f11 twice in the menus when you first start the game you will see some difference

what does pressing f11 do exactly? does it unlock the fps limit?

just makes the game windowed then makes it fullscreen again as far as know it just fixes a common bug with valorant causing fps drop or scaling your 3d res

well, recommended card for that is only a lowly gt 730 so i won't be surprised if people can run it smoothly 1080p ultra with 1030, it's not demanding at all

Hmm thought the game was more intensive
