Power went out. winload.efi missing is the new norm

So I was playing games normally. Power went out in my house, and when I turned it on again, this error popped up (0x000000f).

I have tried disabling Secure Boot and booting. Didn't work. Well, at least I think I did disable it. My mobo has MSI Click Bios and it's messy af.

I have another laptop lying around, so I created a bootable USB with Microsoft's own tool. The problem is, I can't even get it to boot because whenever I try, the same screen shows up. So I can't boot to the drive, and I can't boot to the USB, what the hell do I do?

Are you sure it is not a RAM error?

If you have more than one ram stick check them one by one?

It can be a RAM error? I thought it was just a corrupted file or something

Well your description is not exactly well descriptive.....

But yes a blue screen (0x000000f) can be RAM.

If it was a disc error you should be able to boot from the boot CD.

I'm sorry if it wasn't clear. I meant I get an error saying winload.efi is missing or contains errors. And the error code is 0x000000f

But why cant you boot from a CD?

Change your boot order to CD drive first in bios.

Try F12 while loading maybe your MOBO has a standard boot menu.

Also try downloading a Linux live CD and run a HDD check.

If it is HDD/SSD error you should still be able to boot from a CD without issues.

Well first of all I don't have a CD reader. Secondly, I have placed the USB bootable with W10 in first position, and the same BSOD appears, no matter what.

Also, I just tested each stick of RAM individually (I have 4 sticks of 4GB each), and all of them showed the same BSOD, so it's very much more likely a disk drive error.

OK as I said create a bootable USB drive with a live system linux or what ever.

You should be able to boot from there.

Change boot order to start with USB drive.
