Fake GTX 1060 3GB - identifying card for getting proper bios

Kokufuu

Hi all!
First of all thank you for anyone's help in advance! :)
Unfortunately I received a fake GTX 1060 3GB and now I'm trying to get the most out of it as probably won't get a refund.
So I'm looking for a proper bios to reflash it or at least identifying the card.
I have read through some of the similar cases so trying to provide as many useful info as possible in advance.

Central chip:

S TAIWAN
PHN161.M01

The 6 Hynix chips:

H5GQ1H24AFR T2C 239A
H5GQ1H24BFR T2C 116A

If any further info is needed, please let me know!
Really appreciate any help! :respect:

Can you give us a GPUZ result? These don't give us much to go on.

Edit: Just googling random Nvidia cards with VGA output, I have found a very similar IO and board design that was selling as GT730. Still need GPUZ data to confirm though.

If you open up GPU-Z, what does the GPU core config show up as?

Most of these cards are GTS 450s afaik, the cap layout looks roughly right for a GF106 GPU:

Unfortunately could not get till GPU-Z, after windows boots up I got BSOD in about 30 sec.
Planning to start it in Safe mode, hope it would help.
Also is there a possibility to use the mobo's display ports and somehow partially disable the gpu or something like that to avoid crashes?

This is a very common scam likely the card is a GTX 560(most commonly used card for this scam) or older, this one appears to be a 450 or 460, an easy way to tell is that it has a VGA port, GTX GPUs haven't had VGA ports since the 400 series GTX cards. You can easily avoid being scammed just by seeing if it has one or not, stick to buying only name brands with non generic coolers. The cooler as well as the VGA port are a dead giveaway that this was not a 10 series card. Also if buying used from a classifieds site always ask to test the card first if they decline, drop the offer, if they agree just make sure it works, always test in person too, never accept pictures or screenshots as proof.
