PC -> TV over DVI -> HDMI adapter - no image

I've connected a PC to a TV over DVI-D to HDMI (5m) adapter and whatever I do it won't show the image. Only when first connecting the HDMI cable it shows the desktop for a second or two, then it shows static. 

When changing resolution nothing happens. When changing refresh rate for 50 to 60Hz (and back) it shows the desktop for a second or two, then static again. It detects the second screen and extends the desktop but no image is shown on TV. I tried to duplicate the screen and onoy show it on TV but nothing seems to work. 

 

Some googling lead me to believe that it is an issue with HDCP. PC uses an integrated GPU in Ryzen-3 3200G.

 

What am I to do next?

Just got another TV and it worked. So it's the TV. But what setting must I change for it to show the image? The TV is Vivax.
