ryzen 5 5600x +rtx3070 or ryzen 7 5800x + rtx 3060ti

Svenvdv

Hello everyone

I was wondering about somethingI want to  build a new pc at 1440p (when they are in stock), and im doubting beween getting a ryzen 5 5600x +rtx3070 or ryzen 7 5800x + rtx 3060ti
ill explain why. the rtx 3060ti and 3070 are close in performance with a price diffirence of 100 at MSRP.
After around 3 years I think ill uprade my graphic card, but will the ryzen 5 5600x still be good at 1440p with the new video cards, or is it better to get a ryzen 7 5800x now instead with a 3060ti so futureproofing with the 5800x with the new video cards?

(this is with a 3070 and 5600x)
btw don't bother looking at the monitors

note: I used custom prices cause after the prices drop again these where normal in my country

I hope you understand what I said

Thanks for taking time to read this

Both the Ryzen 5600x and the 5800x are a poor value. The 5600x is way overpriced for a 6 core chip in 2021. I personally wouldn’t buy any 6 core chip unless money was an issue, and if money was an issue, I wouldn’t spend $300 on a 6c. I’d wait for the 5600 non-x or get a Ryzen 3600. No way would I spend $300 on a 6 core, nope.

The 5800x is $449. If you’re already spending that much on a CPU, just pay the extra for the 5900x. The price difference over multiple years of use will be negligible.

I’d buy the Ryzen 5900x. If that’s do much money, Intel has multiple 10th gen 8c/16t and 10c/20t processors for $300 to $400. There are also Intel 6c/12t processors for under $200. Any one of those are on par or better than the Ryzen counter part and for much less money.

that's an option as well, if you're not in a hurry.

There likely won't be one, or it will be OEM only.  Possibly a 5700x down the road.  Depends on how long you want to wait.  Intel i9-10850K is $419 right now on Newegg.  It's 10c/20t and boosts to 5.2GHz out of the box.  It has two more cores than the 5800x, is cheaper, is available, and just as good in gaming as the 5800x.  I'd buy that all day over the 5800x.

Are there any leaked specs about the 5700x?
