@Bayron聽 What does your mind say? 馃槃 And why?

Got 8t 馃槄

So I'm on an hard choice between oneplus 8 and 8t.聽

Contestants are:

1. Oneplus 8 12/256gb Interstellar Glow for - 635 euros聽

2. Oneplus 8t 8/128 aquamarine green for - 635 euros聽

Pros for 8:

1. more ram and memory聽

2.90hz eats less battery聽

3.more premium look, because of curved glass聽

Pros for 8t:

1.120 hz display聽

2. Faster charging聽

3.bigger battery(tho 120hz will eat that difference)聽

4. Comes whit newer Android out of the box(so probably will get 1 major update more than 馃槑

5. One more camera, tho I think useless for me(as macro on both phones)聽

Those differences aside they are both equali powerful in my opinion.聽

The biggest problem for me is the price, both cost the same, but 8 has more ram and storage.聽

I use my phones carefully whit cases and screen protectors, so I don't mind curved screen.聽

Need your opinions which one to buy.聽

Tnx for help 馃檪

Go with 8T in my opinion. You'll get the stable Oxygen OS 11 out of box, much faster 65W Warp charging, has a refreshed design and you can apply a screen protector since its flat.. I personally has pretty bad experience with finding decent tempered glass for curved display phones -_-

Also Oneplus has optimized the software quite well for the higher refresh rate devices (Its variable and depends on the application you're using). Switching to 120Hz will be an extreme experience, trust me 馃槈

I'm allready using phone whit 120hz,only its whit miui and it's full of bugs, that's why I want to get rid of it. So in your opinion 8t is a better buy, yeah I know it hard to find good curved protectors, but it's possible 馃槉 Tnx for your opinion 馃檪

Overall I realize that high refresh rate and curved screens work against device longevity. Burns though the battery faster and is harder to protect from physical damage, in exchange for no practical benefit.

I disagree with you here. If you use devices with well optimized software, higher refresh rate displays make a lot of sense. You'll get the buttery smooth experience in overall UI of device and the applications which support it and stay at 60Hz or even 30Hz in applications which don't. Also more and more developers are starting to adopt this higher refresh rate trend and its not going to end anytime soon. The technology and software optimization has and will continue to improve.

Just for example, watch MrWhoseTheBoss's video comparing battery life of different devices. The higher refresh rate devices still win (as compared to 60Hz ones) as they can switch to higher as well as lower refresh rates (which normal 60Hz panels can't). So yeah, its not something with no practical benefit.

Oh I thought you were looking for a major upgrade from a much older device. Should have mentioned it 馃槈

I think if you need more storage (lets be honest, 8GB is more than enough for a mobile) then go for the 8. Both have really good cameras and whatnot. But if it were me, I'd go for the 8T since it's technically the one with newer tech.

Also, going from 120 to 90 COULD feel like a downgrade.. Who knows? I own a Nord so I haven't experienced the 120Hzzz

It's not much of a difference between 120 and 90 hz, tested the nord side by side whit mines and it's not that noticeable.

Agree whit u that 8t is newer.聽
