Are Valco headphones actually good or scam?

LynxCat

They have really big claims with still being reasonably priced. So are they really any good or is it a some sort of scam? Couldn't find any really good review of the VMK20.

Maybe. website looks questionable. They do have paypal payment option which is normally a good sign as paypal is pretty hot on banning fraudulent shops but it could be really new shop and paypal needs a few complaints before they drop the ban hammer.

Beyond the fact ive never heard of them and the only review ive found is also the guy in all of the photos and there quite expensive id probably not buy them.

Reviews look decent for them, can't personally vouch but the website doesn't read like the traditional scam, it's glaringly unprofessional but by design which is usually a good sign a product is legit.

Haha, what I can tell you, is they are legit at least. Saw someone wearing those headphones on the street the other day. I'm also considering getting the VMK20 which seems to get really nice reviews for the price (most are in finnish though).

Well Finland has a pretty well enforced legal system....

So probably not a scam? I would watch out for everything software support as such small companies tend to go bust.

But Nokia was one of the active noise cancelling pioneers and all sorts of wireless audio. Their headsets used to be the highest end mobile premium stuff. So in theory Finland might have the expertise.

They seem pretty legit and review well. I've heard some decent stuff come out of China and heard some stupidly good stuff for the price come out of there as well I can't see why the Finn's couldn't do it

I got mine today. Testing them out at the moment. And oh my, oh my 👌

I remember when I got my Philips Fidelio X2 as my first better headphones years ago and I was grinning ear to ear to ear... And now I'm grinning ear to ear again 🤩

Also got Creative BT-W3 for bluetooth Aptx LL connectivity (there should also be cheaper options), since my old desktop has no bluetooth. Working great. The headphones are best with bluetooth and the ANC on, which has a bit of white noise in silence, but not a problem when you are actually listening to something.

Quite late to the party but I have Valcos VMK20 and they're really nice and not costing too much.

So, no. In my opinion Valco is not a scam. They're providers of really decent performing and good priced headphones.
