WMI Provider Host using abnormally high CPU

Hey. Whenever I run my computer for more than a few hours "WMI Provider Host" usage seems to spike up to around 40-60%. I've tried running Security Task Manager, Malwarebytes, and it seems like this is some problem with the Windows process itself. I've done quite a bit of research and it seems like it's probably some 3rd party program creating hundreds of instances, since I have seen programs called "CMD.exe" and others along the same line with PIDs up in the 18000s. Is there any way I can identify which program may be causing this? I've attached a Process Explorer screenshot.

Specs (Laptop):

Intel i5-8250U

8GB RAM

NVIDIA GeForce MX130

One strange thing is that I have experienced some issues with sound drivers however I was able to solve this by reinstalling the Realtek drivers. Could that be a part of the issue?

Thanks in advance!
